At Yilret Academy Dong, we believe that real learning happens when students explore the world around them. As part of this commitment, our JS1 learners recently embarked on an educational excursion to the Jos Museum.
The visit provided students with a rich and engaging experience as they explored historical artifacts, traditional artworks, and cultural exhibits. They learned about Nigeria’s diverse heritage, ancient civilizations, and the importance of preserving history for future generations. Seeing these artifacts firsthand brought their Social Studies and History lessons to life in a memorable way.
Our learners asked thoughtful questions, took notes, and interacted enthusiastically with the guides, gaining deeper insight into the cultural treasures housed in the museum. The excursion not only expanded their knowledge but also sparked curiosity and pride in our nation’s history.
At Yilret Academy Dong, we are dedicated to nurturing well-rounded students through meaningful educational experiences. This visit to Jos Museum strengthened our learners’ appreciation for culture and history while making learning both practical and enjoyable.
